GENERAL CONDITIONS: All guarantees are limited to a one (1) time replacement of the same size and species of original plant. A Lawn Beautician reserves the right to make substitutions to the species or variety if it is deemed to be compatible with the environmental conditions. At no time will replacements be made when there remains an outstanding balance on work completed. If customer has non-related past due amounts then these amounts must be brought to current status before replacements will be made.

No replacement will be made if it is determined that lack of adequate care, watering, and/or maintenance was the cause for the loss. Any damage caused by unusual storms or weather conditions, animals or wildlife, vandalism, theft, vehicular damage, fire, acts of God, improper drainage conditions beyond our control, severe freeze, drought, curtailment of water supply by local authority, lack of proper watering by owner/management company, or any other condition that is an uncontrollable act of nature, will not be covered under the terms of this warranty. Any replacements will be scheduled when climate conditions and availability allow.

TREES: All trees planted and supplied by A Lawn Beautician will be guaranteed to be in good health at time of planting and up to one (1) full year from the date of planting.

SHRUBS: All shrubs planted and supplied by A Lawn Beautician will be guaranteed to be in good health at time of planting and up to one (1) full year from the date of planting.

HERBACEOUS/PERENNIALS: All herbaceous perennials planted and supplied by A Lawn Beautician will be guaranteed to be in good health at time of planting and up to six (6) months from the date of planting. Perennial guarantee will be extended until springtime should the six (6) month period end in the winter.

ANNUALS: All annuals planted and supplied by A Lawn Beautician will be guaranteed to be in good health at time of planting. Any concerns about the health of the plantings must be made at the time of installation up until two weeks after initial installation; the plants will then be monitored for a two-week period. During the course of this period, A Lawn Beautician will monitor the progress of plants and take necessary actions to increase the vitality of the plantings, if the plants are still not healthy at the end of this two-week period they will be replaced.

SEED/SOD: Seed germination and Sod establishment will not be guaranteed, the success rate of new turf is wholly dependent on diligent watering which is the responsibility of the Owner. Seed purity and germination test tags will be provided at time of sowing. Sod quality is out of the control of A Lawn Beautician, we work with the best sod farms in the area and trust our sod farm provider to send us out their best product. Any sod quality issues are the responsibility of the sod farm

OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY - Watering Requirements of Plantings: Property owners/managers understand that the plants will die if they are not watered or if they are over watered. Lawns must be watered the equivalent of 1" per week broken up into a minimum of 2 separate watering applications. Plants and trees required a deeper watering allowing for water to soak deeper to roots of plants and trees. The 1" of water for the lawn may help trees and shrubs but a slow drip onto the root zone is ideal for plant acclimation. Make sure annual flowers dry out between waterings so they will not get root rot or other fungus brought on by over watering. Test soil by putting your finger into soil by flower to make sure it is dry before watering again. Property owner/manager will take full responsibility for watering of all types of plantings after Lawn Beautician has completed installation. A Lawn Beautician may supply labor to water for an additional rate of $50 per hour.

IRRIGATION: Damage caused by lightning, animals or wildlife, power surges, mowers, vandalism, theft, aerators, dethatching mowers, severe freeze, heavy equipment, or automobiles will not be covered under the terms of this warranty. Replacement parts will be guaranteed only until the original guarantee period has expired.

IRRIGATION PARTS: Irrigation systems installed by A Lawn Beautician will carry the manufacturers warranty on heads, valves, controllers, and other key components of the system.

IRRIGATION LABOR: Labor will be guaranteed for one year from date of completion to include winterization and spring start-up. At no time will A Lawn Beautician's irrigation warranty imply or express any responsibility for the successful germination of sod planted or for a seeded lawn nor for the responsibility of success rates of any plantings.
